About Optimum InvestOptimum Invest SAL was founded in 2004 to provide fixed income brokerage services to institutional clients in Lebanon and the MENA region. In 2012, the firm upgraded its license to a full-fledged financial institution regulated by the Central Bank of Lebanon with USD 5M fully paid-up capital. In 2014, Optimum Invest broadened the firm’s investment activities to include Institutional Sales & Trading, Asset and Wealth Management services for High-Net Worth Families and Private Investors in addition to Corporate Finance Advisory Services and Institutional Administrative Support Services.In June 2020, LIBANK SAL (Levant Investment Bank SAL) proposed to the founders and shareholders of Optimum Invest SAL to acquire 100% of the company’s shares and a definitive agreement was signed for LIBANK SAL to acquire Optimum Invest SAL.
As now part of the LIBANK Group, Optimum Invest SAL continues to operate under the same management team, business strategy and culture with the wide network of institutional clients it serves.

In June 2020, LIBANK SAL (Levant Investment Bank SAL) acquired 99.91% of Optimum Invest SAL's outstanding shares, with the remaining shares being reserved exclusively to the Members of the Board of Directors.

Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer
Antoine founded Optimum Invest in 2004 and has over 30 years of experience in capital markets. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO at Optimum Invest SAL. He held prominent positions with First National Bank, Middle East Capital Group, Bank Al Saudi Al Fransi, Republic National Bank, and Bank of Nova Scotia. Mr Salamé holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace College.
Executive Board Member - Managing Director
Antoine joined Optimum Invest at its inception and has over 20 years of capital markets and operations experience with First National Bank and Midclear. He currently serves as an Executive Board Member and Managing Director at Optimum Invest SAL. Antoine holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Saint Joseph University, Lebanon. He also obtained an MBA Degree from the joint program of Saint Joseph University, Sorbonne and Dauphine in Paris.Roy DaoudAssistant General ManagerRoy joined Optimum Invest SAL in 2011 to lead and develop the Back Office and Operations Department. Prior to Optimum Invest SAL, Roy worked for 3 years at HSBC Bank Limited Dubai where he served as AVP in the Custody Operations Department. Roy also worked 6 years at Gulf Finance and Investment Company in Lebanon where he was Head of Operations Control before joining Byblos Bank Lebanon for another 2 years as Head of Capital Markets’ Back Office. Roy holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Business Administration from the Lebanese American University, Lebanon.Ayman GhandourExecutive Director - Head of Bonds and Sukuks Institutional CoverageAyman joined Optimum Invest SAL in 2008 to develop and grow the global credit and sukuk institutional coverage in Lebanon and the region. Prior to Optimum Invest SAL, Ayman worked at First National Bank of Lebanon as a fixed income and equities trader for 3 years before joining Banque Libanaise pour le Commerce Finance for 1 year as Head of Capital Markets where he helped institutional and high net worth private investors manage their wealth and risk exposures. Ayman holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Business Administration and a DESS in Financial Asset Management from Saint Joseph University, Lebanon.
